Minor Mosque Minor Mosque – a new architectural complex in the city of Tashkent, which was opened on October 1, 2016.
The mosque is located near to the channel Anchor and it is designed for more than 2,400 people.After the opening of the mosque “Minor” has become one of the largest religious centers of Muslims of Tashkent and throughout Uzbekistan.The building of the mosque was built in traditional oriental and Uzbek style it has two minarets and a dome of sky-blue. Its inner part is decorated ganch and mihrab (niche indicating the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca) is decorated not only the sayings from the Koran, and Hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad).
The mosque has all the conditions for the visitors. There are special rooms for washing, which are equipped with modern amenities.
Its construction was financed by the state budget and of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan.Minor Mosque is undoubtedly one of the main current attractions that are worth visiting, coming to rest in Uzbekistan.
